Terms of Service

Effective October 21, 2026

These terms apply when you use this website or the services of Julie ("we", "us"), a sole proprietorship based in West Melbourne, Florida. If you become a client, your signed service agreement also applies, and it takes priority if anything differs.

1. What we provide

We set up, connect and manage an AI receptionist for your business. That includes training it on your business information, connecting your calendar and other tools, testing it with you, and ongoing monthly management.

2. The software behind Julie

Julie runs on Upfirst, an AI answering platform. You hold your own Upfirst account, accept Upfirst's terms, and pay Upfirst directly for your plan and any extra calls. You add us to your account as a teammate so we can manage it, and you can remove our access at any time. We may receive a referral fee from Upfirst when you sign up through our link.

3. Fees and payment

4. Term and cancellation

Service starts with a 3-month minimum term. After that, it continues month to month. Either of us can cancel with 30 days' written notice. When service ends, we remove our access to your accounts, and your Upfirst account and data remain yours.

5. Your responsibilities

6. Limits of AI

AI receptionists can misunderstand callers or give incomplete answers. Julie is not an emergency service and does not give medical, legal or financial advice. Callers with an emergency should always call 911. You are responsible for the information your receptionist is set up to give, and for confirming important bookings and details with your customers.

7. Other services

We connect your receptionist to third-party services such as Upfirst, Google Calendar, Square, Calendly and Zapier. We are not responsible for outages, changes or errors in those services.

8. No guarantees

We provide our services "as is". We do our best to keep your receptionist accurate and running, but we do not guarantee that every call will be answered or handled correctly, or that you will get any particular result.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the management fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use our services means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Brevard County, Florida.
